Sounder's Special- October

Turnip The Beet Cafe is checking off all the boxes-

Over the past month, Turnip the Beet Cafe has delighted Howe Sound students with an array of dishes crafted just for their tastes. “Great prices but long lines,” remarked one student eagerly waiting in line. The culinary class’s commitment to quality and creativity is evident, as they continue to introduce new student-inspired recipes, each met with enthusiastic praise. “We are trying lots of new dishes and recipes from student requests, and they seem to be well received,” shared one staff member. This month’s standout dish, the Chicken Karaage Bowl, has become a favourite among many students around the school.

The Tightest and Brightest!

This annual celebration for senior students is a great and comedic way to unwind. It is a raucous and hilarious chance for students to show their most colourful side! Students wear tight, bright, and playful outfits to celebrate their upcoming graduation. A lively parade through the halls invited everyone to join the spirited festivities for some fierce competition. Tug of War, Guess That Tune, and Wheelbarrow Racing! Special thanks to the school’s Athletic Leadership team and the dedicated volunteers. Their combined efforts made for an awesome and memorable afternoon!
